THE ENGLISH TIDDLYWINKS ASSOCIATION

(ETwA)

  • The adult version of the game of tiddlywinks started in January 1955.
  • The English Tiddlywinks Association (ETwA) was set up in 1958.
  • ETwA's objectives are to promote the game and coordinate winking activities in England and the rest of the United Kingdom.
  • To this end, ETwA:
    • maintains the official rules of tiddlywinks
    • arranges tiddlywinks tournaments
    • publishes the journal Winking World
    • keeps winks players in touch with what's going on

🆕 The Annapolis Individual Pairs at Windgate (US) was won by Maximilian Lockwood.
🆕 The “Tom Scott Doodah” was won by Ameena Miah.
🆕 A new version of the ratings program, with calculations backdated to 1985, has been released.
🆕 The London Open will be held in The Haverstock on Sunday 28th of September.
🆕 The National Pairs is booked in the Vernon Harcourt Room of St Hilda’s College, Oxford on the weekend of the 25th-26th of October.
